Máté Levente Nagy, PhD

Founder

Máté earned his PhD in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at Yale, where his research focused on classifying biomedical images with convolutional networks. He has since spent more than a decade building AI that reads tissue-based microscope images to help pathologists reach diagnoses.

The thread through all of it is automation that makes work better, not just faster: higher quality, more consistent and more efficient. Vizanalysis applies that same approach to the software we build and run, and to clients' data.

Raised between Hungary and Brooklyn, Máté has a lasting curiosity about how language and culture shape the way people see the world.
